House Flag box
This flag box will hold a 9.5' x 5' flag. Great for retirements or a
gift for the family after returning from a deployment. This is made
from solid oak, and has a blue velvet backer board. Under the backer
board is 1/4" foam. This makes it easy to install metals, insignia,
etc, with out having to use glue on the velvet backer. $160.

Air Force Flag box
This is a new version of my Air Force Flag box. This solid oak flag
box is very popular here at Luke AFB. This holds a 6'x4' flag that shows
through the star. The top portion is great for displaying memorabilia.
It also has a 1/4" foam under the blue velvet so accouterments
can be easily installed without glue. $200

Wizard 1
I made this patch for the Commander of the 56th Operational Support
Squadron at Luke AFB. This wizard is an Intarsia Design, made from African
Paduke, Black Walnut, Oak, Poplar, and Pine. Its mounted to a blue velvet
backer, and framed with Red Oak. Its 21" Diameter, is a great addition
to the 56OSS conference room. Soon I will be making a 36" version
for the main hallway. Smaller versions are available for going away
gifts, quarterly awards etc.
21" $300, 36" $500.

"Sweet Dreams"
This is a pattern I bought two years ago, and recently had a reason
to make it. My niece Kayla just turned one years old and I wanted to
make her something special that she could pass along as an heir lomb.
This project is aprox 22" Diameter. In this Intarsia project I
used: African Walnut; African Paduke; Babinga; Zebra Wood; Purple Heart;
Red Oak; & Pine. I used blue velvet as a backer. This piece has
a quartz clock that runs on a AA Battery. This is a nice project that
will brighten up any child's room. Its also a great gift to keep in a
family for generations. $300 |

1st Sgt retirement
gift:
I made this especially for Retired SMSgt Tyson. SMSgt Tyson was the
First Sergeant for the 309th (Wild Ducks) Aircraft Maintenance Unit
at Luke Air Force Base. SMSgt Tyson was the best first sergeant I have
known in my 18 years of service. He will be long remembered. Once a
Duck, Always a Duck! Good luck and God Speed! |

Opera's Wooden Rose:

F-16 Tail Flag Box:
This flag box holds a standard 5 1/2' x 9' retirement flag. It is approximately
30" wide, by 18" tall. It can be stained walnut, cherry, or
natural Oak as shown. Another way to look back on an eventful military
history. $200 |

Oak Magazine Rack-
I bought the plans for this project from Wildwood Designs. They are
pretty straight forward to follow. I modified this project a bit. The plans called for 1/2
Red Oak, I did this one out of 3/4. I didn't feel like driving to
the base to have the wood milled down. It's nice but very heavy. I
doubt if I'd make these for sale. Not a huge profit margin. But it
made my wife happy. That's better than any profit margin. |
